P.E. Classes

Recently a friend brought to my attention a query that has been right under my nose.
Several important people want to end childhood obesity so the pass legislature and change the cafeteria food standards and encourage physical activity but leave it up to the individual. I wonder why they don't make it mandatory to have a P.E. class every year so that students are physically active 5 days out of the week. This class would help fight obesity better because many people won't exercise unless they are told to.

High School Relationships

The stereotypical high-school student is a confused hormonal being in and out of loads of relationships. Last semester I heard that boy-friend, girl-friend relationships are very stressful. Since I have not and will not be in this kind of relationship in high-school I asked, "If relationships are stressful in high-school, why do you continue to be in one?"
To me it makes sense to only date the person you plan to marry. I wonder why people are compelled to be in many relationships (boy-friend, girl-friend) when they have no intention of marrying that person. Doing this only hurts both people.

Color Perception

In my freshman science class we discussed color and how the eye sees it. During class I had a query that has always given me cause to wonder.
Are the colors that I see the same as the colors that others see? In preschool and kindergarten we learn the names of colors so we all recognize the same name. I wonder if what I see as red is what you see as blue. I wonder if we call a color the same name but see it differently.
